Turn ON/OFF Your Num Lock Key when Startup

do you want your num lock key at your keyboard off when start up??? check the trick

The Num Lock key on a Windows standard keyboard provides an ability to switch the key pad mode: the Number mode or the Function mode. With this key turned ON, the keys on key pad should work as "number" keys, and when being OFF, the keys work as "function" keys. For example, with Num Lock ON (or "enabled"), hitting the key "8" on the key pad would bring up the number "8", while with Num Lock key OFF (or "Disabled"), this would move the cursor up ("arrow-up").
By Windows default, the state of the Num Lock key is cleared out once Windows restarts. For those who mainly use the key pad for numeric purposes would need to turn the Num Lock back on everytime Windows restarts. This could be very annoying. In this case, you might need a way to save the Num Lock setting, despite Windows reboot.

Use this trick at your own risks
This tip modifies the Windows Registry. So be aware and careful when following the steps. Damage the Windows Registry might damage your Windows.
Open the "Registry Editor" ("Start" >> "Run", then type "regedit" and Enter).
Expand to the following key:HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Keyboard\
Within the keyboard folder, you should have a string value named "InitialKeyboardIndicators" with a value of 0, 1, or 2.
Double-click on this string value "InitialKeyboardIndicators" and edit the value to what you want. Below is the explaination of the values:0: Num Lock is turned OFF on startup1: Disable Num Lock2: Num Lock is turned ON on startup
