Running a Network without the Risk of Human Errors by Rick Bates

If a business has to be effective enough to remain strong amidst the competition in the market, a computer network is definitely necessary. Whether it is an intranet or one that is connected to the internet, this provides the personnel with the methods for communicating and information sharing. However, this may require the management to hire people to supervise it.

With this technology, new problems may appear though. Any erroneous entry by human interface can produce some issues that may affect the network. If these are not checked immediately, these may result into far bigger problems. This will have to be addressed for a network analyzer. Using people to deal with this can be inefficient.

It is wise to lessen the chances of errors because of a network's heavy dependence on human interface. It has been found by studies conducted by IT companies that most of the network change accidents were results of human errors. It can be just caused by fat fingers but the entire network can be already be disrupted. Communications can be discontinued and accesses made impossible. Such accidents can be very damaging to a business whose operations rely much on networks. A call center, for one, may suffer a system breakdown just temporarily. However, this can already bring down customer satisfaction to levels that will hurt the business badly. It is for this reason that management tools have been developed in order to do the job. These kinds of programs are definitely better in terms of effectiveness. A network analyzer, for example, can pinpoint the cause of a network problem at once. With it present in a network management tool, solutions can be entered into the system at once.

Many of these have capabilities to determine a problematic network change and to resolve the issue without any prompting by a human interface. A built-in network analyzer first searches for the root of the problem and, once it is found, corrects the anomaly. All these can be done in a matter of seconds at least. When it is needed to perform a network change, such network management software may also be used. This is a deliberate intercession and, of course, it will require a human interface. However, this does not take much time as it would if the network is not automated. A network change and network analyzer software can be bought conveniently through the internet. The software vendors usually provide customers the chance to try these out first. This makes it easy for them determine whether they should buy it or not. The software can be downloaded. The vendor also usually provides guidance in the installation.
